Swansea match weather
With the weather forecast for the nent few days being grim,i think the Swansea match should be called off by Friday dinner time to stop fans from travelling,i think this is basic common sense.what do you all think.

Re: SWANSEA MATCH WEATHER.
If the pitch is playable and satellite time is booked, the media will demand it goes ahead - but I fully agree with you; (the safety of) paying fans should be the priority.

I hope they do as well it’s bloody expensive on the train
Doubt they would call it that early though

Re: SWANSEA MATCH WEATHER.
It should be called off

The conditions for travelling are severe & the police are advising people to make essential journeys only

It's unlikely to be called off though because of the money involved

Re: SWANSEA MATCH WEATHER.
A match and a March in seven days is too much, like players we need our rest so cancel the match and we are all refreshed for the march

Re: SWANSEA MATCH WEATHER.
In today's world games are now called off due to surrounding areas/transport being dangerous as opposed to just the pitch, so on that basis I would have thought many games will be off this weekend.

A Red weather alert for South Wales has just been announced, so it's Dickie Davies and World of Sport this Saturday I fear

Weather isn't too bad in Gloucester but we've got it coming apparently.

Should be called off early, weather forecast abysmal and the game is not on tv.

People in sth Wales have been warned to return home immediately due to red warning for disruptive weather for the next 48 hrs.
Also rail companies say that running replacement bus services may be to dangerous.

Re: Swansea match weather
I'm sacking this in the hope that it's called off and rescheduled.

If the train was direct I'd chance it, but I do not fancy rail replacement in this weather.

Re: Swansea match weather
I'd suggest it's postponed until Andre Ayew's died of Ebola (racist!) as the lump is bound to score against us.

Re: Swansea match weather

Re: Swansea match weather
I've been a bit busy and contacted the club...

"There is currently nothing to suggest the game will not go ahead. We are in contact with Swansea, who have said there is currently no snow in the area, although they are expecting some tomorrow, and they will update us accordingly."
